HSBC Appoints Asia-Pacific Head of Trade and Supply Chain
HSBC has appointed Simon Constantinides as regional head of trade and supply chain, Asia-Pacific, excluding Greater China.
Constantinides will be responsible for managing and growing HSBC’s trade and supply chain franchise across 16 markets in Asia-Pacific and South Africa. Supported by an experienced team of trade and supply chain specialists, he will lead HSBC’s delivery of integrated products and services to a range of corporate clients, including multinational corporations, mid-market enterprises, small businesses and financial institutions.
Prior to his re-location to Hong Kong from HSBC in New York, Constantinides held several positions within HSBC Bank USA, including senior manager, supply chain business, as well as head of supply chain. Most recently, he served as head of sales, trade and supply chain, USA.
With more than 20 years in banking, Constantinides brings a wealth of experience to this position. For the past 15 years, he has focused on marketing and building trade and financial supply chain management solutions for upper middle market and corporate retailers, branded apparel and consumer products companies as well as developing trade e-commerce and supply chain solutions.
