Barron McCann Names John Doyle as SWIFT Business Manager

Information security and IT services specialist Barron McCann has appointed former director of VocaLink and SWIFT, John Doyle, to lead a major new business drive into the SWIFT and corporate payments marketplace.

Doyle joins the company following two years at international payment transaction specialist VocaLink, where he served as channel service line director. Prior to this, he held various positions with MasterCard, American Express, ING Bank and spent eight years at inter-bank data carrier SWIFT, where he served as regional director for North America.

As Barron McCann’s SWIFT business manager, Doyle will focus on enhancing opportunities for the company’s payment solutions for BACS, Faster Payments, the single euro payments area (SEPA) and SWIFT, while ensuring that Barron McCann’s payment services customers can access the widest range of options available.
