Utilisoft Launches Utilities Billing System

Utilisoft has launched a new utilities billing system called Futura. It is a fully functional integrated gas and electricity billing solution that can handle both half hourly and non-half hourly customers, and is suited to the requirements of a new entrant supplier with plans to grow and develop its customer base. Futura was developed in collaboration with Utilisoft’s solution partner Draig Technology.

Futura allows a range of tariff structures, from very simple to highly complex, in order to meet the needs of any utility supplier. It is also flexible in giving the ability for suppliers to create single or bulk invoices per customer, group, payment type or any other defined elements – providing the tools to meet the demands of any type of customer. In addition, it is capable of handling direct debit (both fixed and recalculated on invoice) and cash cheque customers.

John Furness, managing director of Utilisoft, said: “The launch of Futura is a big step in the evolution of Utilisoft. Futura is highly scalable and therefore perfectly suited to new entrant energy suppliers who are looking to grow their presence in the market. It also gives us the ability to provide a more comprehensive solution to our clients – especially in conjunction with the recent launch of our managed services sister company Utiliserve.”
