DeepFlex Appoints Michael Kearney as President and CEO

DeepFlex, a manufacturer of premium composite flexible pipe, has appointed Michael Kearney as president and chief executive officer (CEO), replacing George Coyle.

Kearney joined DeepFlex in 2008 as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), and has played an integral role in the company’s growth and success. Prior to DeepFlex, he served as CFO of Tesco Corporation and CFO of Hydril Company. At Hydril, Kearney played a key role in the growth and increased profitability of the company, which led to a successful initial public offering (IPO).

Kearney graduated with honours from Texas A&M University, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and then obtained a Master’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Houston. Additionally, Kearney is a supervisory director of Core Laboratories (NYSE-CLB) and chairs its audit committee.

Kent Castleman will assume the responsibilities of CFO.
