Movea Appoints Julian Foulger as CFO

Movea, a company focused on technology, patents, and products for motion-sensing applications, has named Julian Foulger as chief financial officer (CFO). Foulger will be responsible for the financial execution of the company’s objectives and will ensure that Movea continues to provide cost effective motion capture solutions for consumers and businesses, while driving financial performance improvements and delivering increased financial value to the company’s shareholders.

Foulger comes from Shaw Healthcare Group in the UK, where he had been financial director since 2003. Previously, in 1997, he was CFO of Wireless Systems International, a start-up 3G wireless infrastructure developer and manufacturer, where he was one of the first 10 employees and a key part of the team that grew the company in three years from an investment of US$7m to a value of US$120m. Before that, he was group CFO of global electronic design automation (EDA) software group Racal Redac.
