Toyota Boshoku Europe Implements Finance SSC with Atos and Oracle
Toyota Boshoku Europe (TBE), global automotive manufacturer, has chosen Atos Consulting to design and implement its European finance shared service centre (SSC) with Oracle Business Accelerators (OBA). With this project, TBE will build its corporate core finance solution, harmonising financial reporting and reducing closing periods.
The first goal for TBE, currently expanding its operations in Europe, is to rapidly set up its new entities. Another major goal is to integrate the finance system with other new systems under construction (manufacturing, logistics, HR, etc).

With the leverage of OBA, Atos Consulting has been able to reduce implementation time from 18 to nine months, and deliver a complete solution for three countries. Our teams work closely together in a process/organisation alignment approach to design an optimal solution and reduce costs. Based on Oracle’s e-business suite package, the solution was immediately tailored to Toyota Boshoku Europe’s requirements during alignment workshops. In this way we designed an efficient and personalised solution, while keeping developments limited to the strict minimum. Less than 100 days of development were needed for interfaces, to be compared to the hundreds or thousands of days often encountered on such projects.”
