AFP Engages International Specialist to Serve Treasurers and CFOs
The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) is expanding its networking events that serve treasurers and chief financial officers (CFOs) in key financial locations and has engaged international treasury consultant Nilly Essaides to develop new content for senior-level treasury executives.
Essaides will facilitate selected roundtable meetings for the Corporate Treasurers Council and Society of Canadian Treasurers to cultivate peer-to-peer discussions and deliver ideas which participants can use on the job. She will also lead the development of educational content for AFP’s Canadian Treasurers Forum, which will take place in Toronto in June 2010. Additionally, she will develop content for senior-level networking events for European treasury executives.
Prior to being an independent consultant, Essaides was managing director at the NeuGroup, responsible for the content for a community of peer groups. She also was responsible for editing the NeuGroup’s flagship newsletter, International Treasurer.
“Our mission is to provide best-in-class products for treasury and finance professionals through our global platform,” said Jim Kaitz, AFP’s president and chief executive officer (CEO). “Nilly’s international expertise will be a great addition to AFP.”
