Ericsson Promotes Jan Frykhammar to CFO

Ericsson’s in-coming chief executive officer (CEO) Hans Vestberg has promoted Jan Frykhammar to chief financial officer (CFO). Frykhammar will also become executive vice president as of 1 January 2010. Frykhammar is currently head of global services business unit and senior vice president (SVP).

Frykhammar joined Ericsson in 1991 after he had earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a degree in Economics at the University of Uppsala, Sweden. He has held various managerial positions in Ericsson, as well as with Ericsson Mobile Phones. Frykhammar was appointed SVP and head of global services in January 2008. He will remain as head of global services until a successor has been appointed.
