KBR Hires Susan Carter as CFO

KBR, a global engineering, construction and services company, has hired Susan Carter as senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO).

Previously, Carter was executive vice president and CFO for five years at Texas-based Lennox International. Before joining Lennox, she served as vice president, finance and chief accounting officer (CAO) at Cummins, based in Columbus, Indiana. She also spent time at Honeywell, where she was involved in the financial management of several businesses including operations with defence content. Carter brings 28 years of financial and accounting experience to her role at KBR.

Carter holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a BS in Accounting from Indiana University. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a former member of the board of directors for Lyondell Chemical Company.
