Paladin Energy Appoints Garry Korte as CFO
Australia-based Paladin Energy has appointed Garry Korte as chief financial officer (CFO). He is a chartered accountant with 20 years experience in mining and related industries, including at director level.
Korte completed his training with PricewaterhouseCoopers before working for Credit Suisse in London. This was followed by 10 years in financial controller and CFO roles in the mining and construction sectors in Africa. More recently, he gained investment banking experience with Resource Finance Corporation in Australia, held the position of general manager commercial for Brambles’ mining services division, and was an executive director and CFO of Windimurra Vanadium.
Korte holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
