Textron Systems Promotes Robert Sullivan to CFO

Textron Systems, a US defence and homeland security firm, has promoted Robert Sullivan to senior vice president (SVP) and chief financial officer (CFO), replacing John Condon, the current SVP of finance, who is retiring.

Effective 4 January, 2010, Sullivan will take over responsibility for the accounting, financial planning, analysis and reporting activities of the company – one of Textron’s five reporting segments. Sullivan will report to Textron senior vice president and corporate controller Dick Yates, while working directly with Frank Tempesta, Textron Systems president and chief executive officer (CEO).

Sullivan has held leadership, finance and accounting positions of increasing responsibility within Textron Systems over the past 25 years, including finance director for Textron Systems working closely with the company’s operating units. For the past three years, he has served as vice president of finance and administration for Textron Defence Systems, an operating unit of Textron Systems.
