Gencor Appoints Ray Adams as CFO
Gencor Industries, a diversified heavy machinery manufacturer, has appointed L Ray Adams as chief financial officer (CFO) and treasurer.
Adams has over 30 years of diversified business, financial and accounting experience. Prior to joining Gencor, he was the CFO at Oregon Steel Mills, a producer of steel products, for 17 years. Adams also spent eight years with the public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, and held accounting and finance positions with Shell Oil Company and Crown Zellerbach Corporation. He holds BSc degrees in accounting and business management from the University of Idaho and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
