EnerSys Announces CFO Michael Philion's Retirement
EnerSys, a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of industrial batteries, has announced that Michael Philion, executive vice president of finance and chief financial officer (CFO), will retire.
Michael Schmidtlein, EnerSys’ vice president and corporate controller, will serve as CFO on an interim basis while an internal and external search is conducted. Schmidtlein joined EnerSys in 1995 and has served as the company’s chief accounting officer since 2005. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and received his BSc in accounting from the University of Missouri.
