Deltek Appoints Michael Corkery as CFO

Deltek, a provider of enterprise applications software, has appointed Michael Corkery as its new treasurer and chief financial officer (CFO).

Corkery brings 25 years of experience to Deltek, most recently as CFO and acting chief executive officer (CEO) for ICO Global Communications, a global satellite communications company. In this role, he led ICO’s day-to-day operational and financial activities, as well as those of its subsidiary, DBSD North America.

Prior to ICO, Corkery held various senior financial and operational executive positions for a variety of leading technology companies. He was CFO of Current Group, a company providing innovative smart grid solutions to utility companies worldwide. In addition, Corkery served as vice president (VP), operations finance at Nextel Communications. Before Nextel, he also held the positions of CFO for Berliner Communications, VP of market finance for XO Communications, and VP, business planning & analysis for AT&T Wireless.
