SunGard Hires Robert Woods as CFO
SunGard has announced that Robert Woods will be its new chief financial officer (CFO). Woods succeeds Michael Ruane, who remains with SunGard as CFO of its Availability Services business.
Most recently, Woods was CFO of IKON Office Solutions from 2004 to 2009. Previously, he served as vice president and controller of IKON, and vice president and treasurer at IBM, and vice president, finance for IBM Asia-Pacific. Woods began his career at Deloitte, Haskins & Sells and went on to hold various positions in tax, treasury, accounting and finance at DuPont. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and holds a BS in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA from Widener University.
Ruane joined SunGard in 1984 and served as CFO since 1994. Ruane previously held the positions of controller of SunGard and CFO of SunGard’s risk and derivatives group.
