UBI Banca Niederlassung Munich Goes Live with Misys Midas Plus

UBI Banca Niederlassung Munich (UBNM), part of UBI Banca, has gone live with Misys Midas Plus core banking solution. Midas Plus provides the bank with support for the whole of its banking systems, enhancing both performance and efficiency.

UBNM will use Midas Plus to replace its present system Oracle Flexcube. As a provider of e-banking, foreign exchange (FX) and money market (MM) services, the bank chose Midas Plus to improve the quality and breadth of the service offering, while provide a platform for expansion.

“We recognised that the solution from Misys was the best platform for our growth plans,” said Massimo Amato, managing director, UBI Banca International. “We are looking to improve the quality of services we offer across the group and Misys Midas Plus will enable us to provide greater functionality as well as the technical resilience that delivers the confidence in the solution. As we see the benefits delivered to us and our customers, we will look to expand its use into other markets across Europe.”
