Deutsche Bank Hires Paul Gardner as Asia-Pacific Head of Structured Trade
Deutsche Bank’s Global Transaction Banking division has appointed Paul Gardner as managing director, regional head of structured trade & export finance, Asia-Pacific.
Gardner joins from RBS where he was regional head of export, project and commodity finance in Asia. He originally established this team at ABN Amro, prior to the acquisition of ABN by RBS. He has over 20 years’ experience in cross-border structured finance, having worked for Lloyds Bank and Bank of America in London, New York and San Francisco.
Based in Singapore, Gardner will report globally to Klaus Michalak, global head of structured trade & export finance, and regionally to Thomas DuCharme, regional head of global transaction banking for Asia ex-Japan.
