Huntington Appoints John Largent as Corporate Banking Operations Director
John Largent, a 24-year banking veteran, has joined Huntington Bank as senior vice president and commercial and corporate banking operations director. In this role, he is responsible for back office treasury management services, including automated clearing house (ACH), wire transfer, disbursement reconciliation and positive pay, lockbox and remittance processing, cash vault, and third-party print and mail services. He reports to Zahid Afzal, executive vice president, technology and operations.
Largent joins Huntington with broad operations leadership experience at AmTrust Bank, KeyBank and PNCBank. During his career he has been responsible for the servicing of commercial loan, consumer loan, credit card and debit card portfolios. In addition, he has provided leadership to transaction processing areas, including item processing, ATM operations, ACH operations and wire transfer. His experience also includes responsibility for payroll and benefit operations, balancing and reconciliation activities, tax compliance activities and retirement operations.
Largent earned a MBA from Bellarmine University and a bachelor’s in mathematics from Hanover College in Indiana.
