TGS Names Kristian Johansen as CFO
Norwegian geophysical firm TGS has appointed Kristian Johansen as chief financial officer (CFO).
Most recently, Johansen was the executive vice president and CFO of EDB Business Partner in Oslo, which is one of the largest IT groups in the Nordic region. Johansen also has experience in the construction, banking, and oil industries. A native of Norway, he earned his undergraduate and MBA from the University of New Mexico in 1998 and 1999.
TGS’s current CFO, Arne Helland, will continue in his role until 1 May 2010, facilitating a smooth transition.
