Borrego Solar Systems Appoints Bill Bush as CFO

Borrego Solar Systems, a designer and installer of grid-tied commercial and public-sector solar electric power systems, has appointed Bill Bush as chief financial officer (CFO).

With more than 20 years of experience in accounting, financial support and business development, Bush will be responsible for managing Borrego’s overall financial operations and growth. Additionally, he will work to further leverage the relationship between Borrego Solar and investor Walsin Lihwa, and work with Borrego’s commercial and public-sector customers on solar system financing. Walsin Lihwa recently formed a US$30m power-purchase agreement fund (PPA), organised as Green Lake Capital, to expedite the financing for larger solar installations and allow Borrego Solar’s customers to take advantage of clean renewable solar power.

Most recently, Bush served as the CFO of Solar Semiconductor, a private vertically integrated manufacturer and distributor of high-quality PV modules and systems targeted for use in industrial, commercial and residential applications. Before Solar Semiconductor, he served as CFO for several high growth software and online media companies with responsibilities which included the establishment of business processes, capital raising, business development and investor relations.
