CISI Accredits First Canadian Provider of Islamic Finance Qualification
The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has accredited Centennial College School of Business in Toronto as its first training provider in Canada. The college will offer training for the CISI’s Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ). The qualification is the first international benchmark in the area of Islamic finance.
“We’re absolutely delighted to bring this course to Toronto,” said David Johnson, dean of the School of Business. “There is tremendous interest in Islamic finance within the banking community here, so it won’t be difficult to draw professionals into this unique and beneficial course.”
