Oriental Minerals Appoints Mark Gelmon as CFO
Oriental Minerals has appointed Mark Gelmon, chartered accountant (CA), as chief financial officer (CFO). As the CFO, Gelmon will be responsible for management of the finance department of Oriental in conjunction with the president and with outside accounting, tax, and auditing firms. His background as a CA provides him with the necessary skills required for financial management and compliance with today’s complex regulatory reporting requirements.
Gelmon is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC. He has served as an auditor, director, CFO, corporate controller and accountant for several public and private companies.
