GT Solar Names Richard Gaynor as CFO

GT Solar International, a provider of specialised production equipment, process technology and turnkey manufacturing services for the solar power industry, has named Richard Gaynor as chief financial officer (CFO). Gaynor fills the CFO position vacated by his predecessor in May 2009.

Gaynor brings to GT Solar a wealth of financial management experience over the last 23 years at global public technology companies. Most recently, he was CFO at Sonus Networks, a provider of voice-over-IP infrastructure solutions for wireline and wireless service providers. Prior to this, he served as CFO at Sycamore Networks, a provider of intelligent optical networking hardware and software products.

Gaynor is a graduate of the National University of Ireland and holds an MBA from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
