Misys Announces Two New Customers for BankFusion Equation

Misys, an application software and services company, has announced two wins for BankFusion Equation, its core banking system.

Amsterdam Trade Bank (ATB), a fully-owned subsidiary of Alfa Bank, has signed a licence for BankFusion Equation in order that the bank can rapidly bring new products and services to market and have the best solution available to meet its international expansion goals.

ATB will benefit from BankFusion Equation’s ability to tailor and modify business processes to their exact requirements, no longer constrained by the underlying technology. In addition, an in-built tool automatically generates the system’s Java code significantly reducing manual input and errors while accelerating solution modifications.

QNB, a leading national bank in Qatar, has also licensed Misys BankFusion Equation to ensure it has the most modern technology platform available to underpin its business strategy. “BankFusion Equation serves the strategic growth objectives of QNB Group by, most importantly, providing an automated risk management framework, while seamlessly integrating with existing systems and technologies,” said a QNB spokesperson.
