Openwave Promotes Anne Brennan to CFO

Openwave Systems, a software innovator delivering context-aware mediation and messaging solutions, has promoted Anne Brennan to chief financial officer (CFO). Brennan replaces Karen Willem, who resigned from Openwave effective 31 March 2010. Brennan will report to chief executive (CEO) Ken Denman.

With more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, Brennan most recently served as Openwave’s vice president of finance, and also served as Openwave’s interim CFO in early 2008.

Brennan has been with Openwave for the past nine years, initially located in the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA office) before joining the corporate finance team at the company’s headquarters in 2005. Before joining Openwave, she had a long career with Racal Group where she held various financial positions.
