Paul Mercier Confirmed as Closing Keynote Speaker at gtnews Global Corporate Treasurers Forum - Europe
Paul Mercier, principal adviser in market operations at the European Central Bank (ECB), has been confirmed as a keynote speaker at the gtnews Global Corporate Treasurers Forum – Europe (GCTFE) event for senior treasury professionals, to be held at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 23-25 June.
Mercier attained his current title after having served as deputy director general of the ECB for 11 years. Previously, he was head of financial markets for the European Monetary Institute (EMI). In this capacity, he participated in the design of the monetary policy and foreign exchange policy instruments of the ECB.
To be held at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 23-25 June, GCTFE has been specifically designed for senior level corporate treasury professionals. It will cover issues as diverse as shared services, pension risks, foreign exchange (FX) strategies, funding corporate growth and treasury best practice.
