Pasha Bank Uses Tieto for Payment Cards
Pasha Bank in Azerbaijan has selected Tieto’s Card Suite issuing solution for establishing the bank’s card business operations. Implementing Tieto’s solution will enable the bank to increase the number and quality of payment products and services it offers to its clients.
Pasha Bank is a modern, innovative financial institution that focuses on the commercial and corporate sectors, as well as affluent private clients. The banking business is growing rapidly in the country and Pasha Bank aims to enter the card business with the help of a flexible platform on which it can build and continuously enhance their payment card product portfolio.
Tieto installed its own and third party software and integrated the solution with the AzeriCard processing centre in Azerbaijan, to ensure that the acquiring and processing of the cards issued by the bank function properly. Tieto also supplied the hardware platform, and the full integration project was completed in six months. Co-operation with Tieto allowed Pasha Bank to concentrate on the business issues and leave the IT integration to Tieto, resulting in more effective use of resources and a faster time-to-market.
