JP Morgan Establishes Energy Investment Banking in Calgary
JP Morgan’s investment banking business has hired David Harrison as head of Canadian Energy Investment Banking, to be based in Calgary. Harrison will be responsible for building out the firm’s energy franchise in Canada. He will report to Adam Howard, senior country officer and head of Canadian Investment Banking, and Vean Gregg, head of North American Oil and Gas Investment Banking.
Harrison was previously head of Energy Investment Banking at UBS Securities Canada, where he had worked since 1995. He was responsible for a wide range of sectors, including oil and gas, power and pipelines, chemicals and forestry.
