Deutsche Bank Adds Two to Trade and Export Finance Team in Asia

Deutsche Bank has appointed two new members to its structured trade and export finance (STEF) team in Asia.

Evert-Jan Zondag joins Deutsche Bank’s STEF team as a senior originator and will spearhead the origination and export finance business from Hong Kong. Reporting to Paul Gardner, head of STEF for Deutsche Bank in Asia, he will have responsibility for Korean exporters and for the telecom sector across Asia. Zondag has 14 years of banking experience and joins from ABN Amro/Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), where he most recently worked in the export and project finance team. Prior to that, he covered senior roles in the financial markets advisory business at ABN
Amro/RBS.

Edward Hui will join Zondag’s team in Hong Kong and will focus on structuring best-in-class financing solutions for Deutsche Bank’s clients in Asia. He has experience in the power and telecom sectors and joins from ABN Amro/RBS, where he worked in the export and project finance team for four years.
