Immersion Appoints Shum Mukherjee as CFO
Immersion Corporation, a developer and licensor of haptics technology, has appointed Shum Mukherjee as chief financial officer (CFO).
Previously, Mukherjee was CFO at OpenTV, a software and technology provider of digital television solutions, and also at Genus, a semiconductor equipment company. Prior to that, he served as CFO for E*Trade International and worldwide group controller at Raychem Corporation. Shum holds a Masters degree in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management and a Masters degree in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur with specialisation in operations research.
