BluePhoenix Names Nir Peles as CFO

BluePhoenix Solutions, a legacy IT modernisation solutions firm, has announced that Varda Sagiv, its chief financial officer (CFO) for the past three years, has decided to resign from her position to explore other business opportunities.

Nir Peles, who has served as a business development manager at Shiraz Investments and, prior to that, as a financial consultant at BDO Consulting Group, has been appointed to the CFO position. Peles holds a BA in economics and accounting from the Hebrew University, an MBA from Tel Aviv University and MA in Law from Bar Ilan University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) in Israel.
