Gentiva Health Services Promotes Eric Slusser to CFO

Gentiva Health Services, a provider of home health and hospice services, has appointed Eric Slusser to succeed John Potapchuk as chief financial officer (CFO). Potapchuk will remain with Gentiva as a special advisor to the CFO.

Slusser brings significant healthcare finance experience to Gentiva and has become a valued member of the senior management team over the past six months. Slusser has served as senior vice president of finance since October 2009. He brings more than 25 years of diverse financial and operational experience to the company, having worked in management roles at large companies including Centene, where he was executive vice president and CFO; Cardinal Health; Sprint PCS Group; and MCI. In addition, Slusser worked in the audit division of Arthur Andersen, supporting clients from a range of industries on projects that included merger and acquisitions and business consulting.

He earned a MBA from the University of Missouri and has been licensed as a certified public accountant (CPA) since 1983.
