Trustwave Appoints New Channel Manager for EMEA and APAC
Trustwave, a provider of information security and compliance solutions, has appointed Kristian Karppi as channel manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC).
Karppi has more than 12 years of experience developing information security channel partnerships with leading global organisations, specifically in Europe and Asia. Karppi spent several years at PGP Corporation, most recently as a value added distribution manager for EMEA, India and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), where he managed two-tier channel partnerships. Previously, Karppi worked for Symantec managing software distribution channel partners in the UK and Ireland. Most recently, Karppi was the managing director and chief strategy officer at K&K Global Consulting, where he offered data protection software vendors specialised business development services, including the development of channel partner programmes.
Karppi will be responsible for channel development, partnering with key security and technology integrators, value-added resellers and value-added distributors in EMEA and APAC. These partnerships will help further penetrate these markets with Trustwave’s information security solutions, including data loss prevention (DLP), network access control (NAC), security information and event management (SIEM), encryption and more. Karppi’s channel experience will help Trustwave improve its partner programme through proactive planning, support, training and product marketing to help create trusted long-term relationships.
