SCOR Goes Lives with Sterci SWIFT Service Bureau

SCOR, a French reinsurance company with worldwide operations, has gone live on SWIFT using Steform, Stematch, and the Sterci service bureau from Sterci France, the subsidiary of Swiss software vendor of service oriented architecture (SOA) solutions for straight-through processing (STP). The first phase of this project aims to link SCOR Global Investments with its custodians and prime brokers through the SWIFT network, to generate automatic SWIFT orders/instructions from Simcorp Dimension and reconcile positions from cash and securities statements.

Laurent Guéraud, project director, and Marc Philippe, IT director, at SCOR’s Paris Hub, said: “SCOR made a strategic decision to migrate to SWIFT and chose Sterci for its expertise and the effectiveness and simplicity of its solutions. The successful launch in early May 2010 proves that this was a good choice.”
