TPC Group Appoints Miguel Desdin as CFO

TPC Group, a petrochemical products company, has named Miguel Desdin as senior vice president (SVP) and chief financial officer (CFO).

Desdin joins the company with nearly 20 years of finance experience in the chemical industry. He has served in senior leadership roles with various companies, including Celanese, as vice president and controller, and with Great Lakes Chemical as vice president and treasurer. Most recently, Desdin served as SVP and CFO at Furmanite. During his combined tenure with these companies, his responsibilities have included strategic planning and all finance-related functions, including accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and SEC reporting.

Desdin holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School and a BSc in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida.
