Barclays Corporate Appoints Four Cash and Trade Product Specialists

As part of its ongoing product expansion strategy, Barclays Corporate has announced four senior appointments in the corporate bank’s cash and trade team:

  1. John Traynor, head of international cash sales and global client segment.
  2. Giles Herman, global head of financial institutions trade.
  3. Baihas Baghdadi, head of international trade origination.
  4. Jeroen Reyes Stolker, head of international business development for trade.

Traynor joins from ABN Amro Bank, where he was most recently head of global transactional sales for North America, managing sales, product management, implementation and customer service. During the past two years, he has worked with regional banks in the US to build out their cash management businesses.

Herman brings more than 13 years of experience from a number of leading financial institutions including HSBC.

Baghdadi joins from Barclays Spain, where he was head of Barclays corporate products, and he previously worked for Fortis Bank Spain and Portugal as head of trade finance and head of specialised financial services for almost five years.

Reyes Stolker also joins from Barclays Spain, where he was head of new product development for cash and trade. He previously worked for Citigroup both in London and Spain, after completing an MBA at the Rotterdam School of Management.
