Getty Images Appoints Bart Catalane as CFO

Getty Images, a creator and distributor of still imagery, footage and multimedia products, has appointed Bart Catalane as chief financial officer (CFO). With more than 25 years in financial and operating management with media companies, including webloyalty.com, LIN Television Corporation, Ziff Davis Media and ABC, Catalane has a proven track record of driving top and bottom line results for a wide range of innovative media companies.

Catalane will be based in New York and report directly to Jonathan Klein, co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO). Current Seattle-based CFO Jeff Dunn will assist Catalane in the transition.

Catalane joins Getty Images most recently from webloyalty.com, where he also served as CFO. Previously, Catalane also held senior management and CFO positions at companies including TMP Worldwide and Capital Cities/ABC’s Television and Radio Broadcast Divisions. He began his career working as a certified public accountant (CPA) and staff auditor for Coopers & Lybrand in New York City.
