RRsat Appoints David Aber as CFO
RRsat Global Communications Network, an Israel-based provider of content management and global distribution services to the television and radio broadcasting industries, has appointed David Aber as chief financial officer (CFO). He replaces Gil Efron, who is leaving to pursue new opportunities. Efron will continue at the company through the transition period.
Aber has held several CFO positions in the technology and communications industries with early stage as well as publicly traded companies. He was CFO of DSP Communications from 1997-1999, where he managed the financial operations of the company that was later acquired by Intel for US$1.6bn. He was also CFO of Zen Research during its US$100m float on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
