HSBC continues the development of its Asia-Pacific team through two key appointments in Korea and Indonesia:
Sunil Veetil assumes the role of head of global payments and cash management in Korea and will be responsible for driving business strategy in this market. Veetil relocates from Indonesia, where he recently served as head of global payments and cash management. During his career with HSBC, Veetil has also served as regional manager, product development and deputy head of transaction banking in the Middle East.
In an internal promotion, Herani Hermawan will take over from Veetil as head of global payments and cash management in Indonesia. In her most recent position, Hermawan was responsible for the substantial growth and development of the Indonesia sales team, which doubled business value won for HSBC in Indonesia.
