Odersun Names Doede Vierstra as CFO

Odersun, a manufacturer of customised thin-film solar modules, has appointed Doede Vierstra as chief financial officer (CFO) and member of the management board. He has worked in various executive finance positions, bringing vast experience in finance and international management.

Vierstra joins from the Dutch energy provider Nuon, now part of the Vattenfall Group, where he was CFO. Prior to that, he served as CFO at Royal Wessanen, an organic food company, and Royal Friesland Foods.

Vierstra succeeds Peter van Bommel, who was responsible for the company’s finances since early 2009. Van Bommel decided to return to his home country, The Netherlands, and has accepted another position in the meantime.
