Central Parking Appoints Cindy Baier as CFO

Central Parking System, a parking management and marketing company, has appointed Lucinda (Cindy) Baier as senior vice president (SVP) and chief financial officer (CFO). Baier’s background includes both public and private company experiences, as well as an in-depth knowledge of complex organisations and transformational assignments.

Most recently Baier served as executive vice president (EVP) and CFO for Movie Gallery. She has also served as SVP and CFO for World Kitchen; president and chief operating officer (COO) for Whitehall Jewellers; SVP and general manager for Sears, Roebuck and Co, where she was responsible for the credit and financial products division reporting to the chairman and chief executive officer (CEO); and General Dynamics Corporation. She currently serves as a director of Bon-Ton Stores.

Baier began her career with Arthur Andersen & Company, where she was a manager in the audit practice. She is a graduate of Illinois State University, where she earned an MS degree in Accounting in 1987 and a BS degree in Accounting in 1984. Baier is also a certified public accountant (CPA).
