WebTech Wireless Appoints Andrew Morden as CFO

WebTech Wireless, a provider of vehicle fleet location-based services (LBS) and telematics technology, has appointed Andrew Morden, chartered accountant (CA), as chief financial officer (CFO), effective 4 October 2010.

Morden has a broad array of public company experience, having served as the CFO at Vancouver-based Intrinsyc Software and Digital Dispatch Systems. He was previously employed at the Internet Marketing Centre, first as CFO and then as acting chief executive officer (CEO) in preparation for the sale of that business.

Earlier in his career, Morden served as the vice president of financial planning and systems and as a director of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems at Intrawest Corporation, and as an ERP client and project manager at SAP Canada.

Morden qualified as a CA with KPMG, working in their Vancouver and Sydney, Australia offices before leaving as a senior manager.
