Cadence Appoints Geoff Ribar as CFO
Cadence Design Systems, a global electronic design innovation company, has appointed Geoff Ribar, chief financial officer (CFO) of Telegent Systems, as senior vice president (SVP) and CFO, effective 1 November 2010. He replaces Kevin Palatnik, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests.
Ribar is an experienced executive who brings a wealth of financial, IT and operational expertise at public and private high tech companies, including SiRF, Matrix Semiconductor, nVidia and Advanced Micro Devices.
