HSBC Names Gary Cross as New Zealand's Head of Trade and Supply Chain
HSBC has appointed Gary Cross as head of trade and supply chain, New Zealand. Cross’ career in the banking industry has spanned more than 22 years, with extensive experience across the trade and cash management arenas, most recently as senior manager, international trade services at ASB Bank. In that role he was responsible for international trade services, and the experience will prove invaluable in his new position at HSBC.
Prior to this, Cross was with ANZ Banking Group for 16 years, most of which was spent in international trade related roles across the country.
In his new role, Cross is responsible for driving and managing HSBC’s trade and supply chain business strategy in New Zealand, leading a team of specialists to deliver innovative trade and supply chain solutions to a range of companies, including multinational corporations, mid-market enterprises and small businesses.
