Ektron Appoints Sean Lannan as CFO

Ektron, a web content management (WCM) firm, has named Sean Lannan as chief financial officer (CFO). Lannan will participate in overall corporate and financial strategic planning to support the company’s growth.

Lannan has been employed as CFO by BBN Technologies since 2007, where he developed an ambitious five-year strategic plan and set up related initiatives to achieve it. At BBN, Lannan set aggressive performance targets and planning processes for a business that delivered substantial revenue growth during his tenure.

Prior to BBN, Lannan was senior vice president (SVP) and treasurer at Polaroid, where he led treasury, corporate finance and corporate development. He also has held related roles at Manufacturers’ Services LTD, Telocity, and Lucent Technologies. Lannan holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and a MBA from The Wharton School.
