Swedbank Launches Cash Pooling for International Corporates
Swedbank has rolled out ecofinance’s software solution CPS to enable improved control of liquidity and supports cash concentration cross border for its corporate clients. Swedbank’s CPS solution offers cash pooling across legal entities, countries, currencies and banks on a multi-level hierarchy for international corporates. The system allows cash pooling with physical transfers as well as notional pooling.
CPS is a flexible system offering a variety of functionality and reports. In a series of workshops, functional and technical requirements, as well as reports, were specified in detail in close co-operation between ecofinance and Swedbank. In the subsequent customisation phases, the software was tailored to the individual needs of Swedbank, adding additional features to the system. The in-house development centre of ecofinance made it possible to extend the software scope in the short term: a new pooling method has been developed within the project.

Swedbank implemented CPS within 12 months.
