Superior Industries Names Kerry Shiba as CFO
Superior Industries International, a supplier of aluminum wheels, has appointed Kerry Shiba as senior vice president (SVP) and chief financial officer (CFO). He succeeds Emil Fanelli, vice president and corporate controller since 1997, who had been serving as interim CFO for the past 12 months.
Most recently Shiba was SVP/chief financial and restructuring officer and president of the original equipment business unit of Remy International, a supplier of components to automobile and truck manufacturers. He previously held a number of senior management positions with Kaiser Aluminum, including SVP and CFO, and served in senior financial management roles with The BF Goodrich Company. Shiba began his career as a certified public accountant (CPA) at Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young).
Shiba earned bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Political Science, magna cum laude, from Baldwin Wallace College. He currently serves on the board of directors of Universal Building Products and Ramsey Industries.
