Standard Chartered Launches STR for Oracle E-Business Suite

Standard Chartered has launched a new product for corporate clients that will integrate the Oracle E-Business Suite into its existing Straight2Bank Access channel. Standard Chartered’s Straight2Bank Access for Oracle E-Business Suite automates payables, receivables, cash reconciliations and trade financing.

Pramod Balakrishnan, chief financial officer (CFO) of Topaz Energy and Marine, said: “Topaz, an Oracle customer, is always on the look-out for leading edge solutions that deliver efficiency gains and meet our stringent control requirements. Reflecting our long-standing relationship with Standard Chartered, we look forward to piloting this new integration. By integrating Oracle’s ERP systems with Straight2Bank Access, our goal is to standardise our financial process to help achieve cost savings and mitigate operational risk.”
