Recombo Appoints Blair Simonite as CFO
Recombo, a provider of contract management software, has appointed Blair Simonite as chief financial officer (CFO). Simonite is responsible for directing all financial matters, as well as short- and long-term financial and operational strategy execution for Recombo.
Simonite joins from ACL Services, a provider of analytics software for audit, where he was vice president, finance and operations. During his 10-year tenure, he built a robust organisational infrastructure and capabilities required to support the growth of the global audit business.
Prior to ACL, Simonite was a key player in global organisations Honeywell and Duke Energy, as well as with a range of successful small and mid-sized firms. With over 25 years in financial and operational management, he has been instrumental in implementing rigorous financial and operational processes, as well as corporate governance and compliance for technology firms.
Simonite is an active leader in the BC Technology community, and is a board member and advisor to several early stage software and clean-tech companies. In 2010, he was appointed to the board of governors for Capilano University. Simonite is also a partner and board member of BC Social Venture Partners, a philanthropic group of business executives that offer funding and expertise to grow the capacity of charitable organisations in Vancouver, BC.
