FRC Appoints Glen Moreno as Deputy Chairman

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has appointed Glen Moreno as its deputy chairman. Moreno is chairman of Pearson and a non-executive director of Lloyds Banking Group and Fidelity International.

FRC Chairman Baroness Hogg said: “Glen Moreno brings a wealth of global business expertise to the FRC. His knowledge of market regulation and international business practice spanning the US, continental Europe and southeast Asia will be of enormous value to us. As a current FTSE 100 company chairman Glen brings a fresh perspective to our work on corporate governance and investor engagement. It is a mark of the FRC’s strong reputation within the business community that we have attracted someone of Glen’s calibre and I very much look forward to working with him.”
